What is Virtual Landline?
Virtual Landline is an alternative telephone service that works with Internet connection. It can be used on a smartphone, laptop, or IP phone. Perfect for businesses with fixed or mobile Internet looking for a professional telephone number that is flexible, affordable, and easy-to-use.
How does it work?
Once you sign up for Virtual Landline, we'll give you a unique number depending on area code you have chosen. You will use it whenever you need to make and receive calls over the Internet connection. It can still be linked to your cell phone number in case you lose internet connection, and you will be able to receive calls.
Do I need an IP phone?
We recommend that you make use of our VoIP-enabled phone, but there are other options available -such as mobile apps (like Portsip, Linphone, Zoiper etc.. ) or your existing VoIP phone.
Can I have multiple devices registered to the same number?
You can register multiple devices to the same number (so you can have multiple devices in your house). Same number or multiple extensions. The maximum will be four simultaneous sessions per number or extension.
Does airtime roll over?
Yes, any unused airtime will roll over for 3 months.
How to buy airtime?
Log in to your online VoIP account, using your account details provided by Cathel Tech. Then select top up button then the amount of recharge and proceed.
